ARTLANT PTA Starts Production
ARTLANT PTA has started manufacturing purified terephthalic acid – PTA - aimed at the manufacture of polyester polymers mainly used in the food industry – PET packaging and the textile sector – fibres. Located in Sines, the new unit is the most recent and modern PTA plant in Europe and one of the main industrial projects built in Portugal, an investment of over 400 million Euros.
